Cricket Australia Under Fire After Cheeky Tweet On Sachin Birthday
On a day when the cricketing world is celebrating the "God of Cricket" Sachin Tendulkar's birthday, Cricket Australia, the governing body of the sport Down Under, has drawn flak from fans for its deliberate attempt to degrade the Master Blaster. The row was sparked when Cricket Australia, through its Twitter account, greeted birthday wishes to Damien Fleming, the former Australian bowler who also happens to celebrate his birthday today.
Sachin, who is celebrating his 45th birthday today, is the only batsman to have scored hundred 100's in the international arena. Currently, the legendary batsman is involved with the Mumbai Indians as a team icon in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2018.

In the tweet, a video of the Aussie bowling Sachin out clean bowled during a One Day International match in 2000 was posted. “Some @bowlologist gold from the man himself - happy birthday, Damien Fleming!” the tweet read.

In no time, cricket fans bashed the tweet heavily maintaining that it is the birthday of the greatest sportsman to have ever graced cricket today. A few fans mocked the Australians that even ball-tampering incidents and repeated bans have not changed their mindset.
