Court seeks probe into Ramreddy bribe case

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday, directed the Warangal SP to probe the case in connection to the Horticulture & Sericulture minister Ramreddy Venkata Reddy where he was accused of taking a bribe of Rs 35 lakhs.

It may be recalled here that Goguloth Chinna, secretary of Srichaitanya Techno School, Enkuru village of Khammam district and V. Ramesh, head master had filed a petition in the court, alleging that they paid Rs. 35 lakh to the Minister to run the school.

The petitioner Goguloth Chinna today alleged that there was no security for him in Khammam and sought the help of the court .

Justice L Narasimhan, dealing with the petition issued orders to the Warangal SP to probe into the issue.
He also ordered that the SP should appoint an officer of the DSP rank by February 4 to probe into the matter and finish the investigation within 15 days.
