Hyderabad: Opposition Congress party on Wednesday put Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on notice by announcing that they are going to move a no-trust motion against the TRS government in the Telangana Assembly during the ongoing session of the state legislature.

Following the adjournment of the House, the Opposition leader K. Jana Reddy and TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that the ruling party is running the House unilaterally without allowing Opposition parties to raise the issues which is the reason they have decided to move a no-confidence motion against the government.

While Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that KCR will hold the Assembly session as long as possible but won’t be allowing the Opposition members to speak, Jana Reddy sought support from BJP floor leader G. Kishan Reddy to the no-trust motion.

Congress, TDP and BJP members met Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary and expressed their displeasure over the way the House is being run without letting Opposition to express their views.

Meanwhile, the members belonging to all parties including the ruling TRS were in utter confusion as to how long the current winter session is going to run. Though KCR announced that the session will continue for 50 days, the CM is reported to have reduced it to 15 days. Longer session means inviting more problems as the Opposition is in an attack mode to train guns on the ruling party on both political as well as administrative front.
