'Congress to get highest number of seats in Telangana'

“Congress party will get highest number of seats in Telangana region in these elections,” said former minister K.Jana Reddy.

“We may be short of the required figure to form the government. But, Congress party can form the government after becoming the single largest party in the state,” said Jana Reddy.

“TRS may have some level of admiration from people in Telangana region. But, it can’t get majority of seats here,” said the leader.

He said that TRS leaders were making irresponsible statements on getting the highest number of seats in Telangana region.

He made the comments while speaking at the meeting of Congress leaders from Telangana region on Sunday.

“Congress high command will decide the chief ministerial candidate only after taking into account the opinions of the MLAs. Lobbying don’t click here,” said the leader.

Speaking on the occasion, Damodar Reddy said that Jana Reddy has all the qualifications to become the chief minister. “He hold some key portfolios in the state and his services are must to build a new Telangana,” said the leader.
