Congress Sacks Devineni Nehru, His Son, Other Associates

Vijayawada: Congress senior leader and former minister Devineni Rajasekhar (Nehru) has been expelled from the party. According to the sources, Devineni, his son and other close associates are expected to join Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

APCC President Raghuveera Reddy on Tuesday said that alongwith Devineni Nehru, his son and Youth Congress President Avinash, and Krishna district party President Kadiyala Buchibabu were also expelled from Congress Party.

Devineni Nehru and his son Avinash recently met TDP leaders. The father-son duo along with their close associates, as sources in the know reveal, will join TDP in presence of N Chandrababu Naidu.
