Congress MLC Supporters Raise Slogans Against Uttam Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad: Tense situation prevailed at a Congress training camp when the supporters of Congress MLC Rajagopal Reddy raised slogans against TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy.

The training session was held at Shamshabad town here on the city outskirts on Saturday.

Nalgonda Congress MLA Komatreddy Venkat Reddy along with his supporters attended the meeting. His brother Rajagopal Reddy also came to the session at the same time. Meanwhile, the Congress leaders invited Venkat Reddy on to the stage and ignored his brother MLC Rajagopal Reddy.

This made the supporters of Rajagopal Reddy restive. However, the Congress MLC waited patiently for two hours and abruptly left the venue. While leaving the session, some of the supporters of Rajagopal Reddy raised slogans against Uttam Kumar Reddy. They said: "Uttam Hatao, Congress bachao."
