Congress men attack YSRCP activists in Kurnool

Congress members attacked YSR Congress Party activists at Mallikarjuna village in Halaharvi mandal in Kurnool district on Friday during the second phase of municipal elections.

Congress activists attacked YSRCP members, forcing the latter to retaliate. 

In the incident, about six YSRCP activists were injured and the condition of one of them is said to be serious. The injured persons were shifted to Guntakal government hospital.

ASI of police attacked one activist of YSRCP at Kamalapadu village in Yadi mandal in Anantapur district on Friday. Reportedly the ASI was working for TDP, and when questioned by a YSRCP member, the latter was attacked.
