Congress has no dearth of candidates : Raghuveera

  Andhra Pradesh PCC President N.Raghuveera Reddy said that list of party candidates for the coming elections from Seemandhra region will be released in two phases soon.

He clarified that all sitting MPs and MLAs surely get tickets this time.

“There is no dearth of candidates in Congress party. About 1160 candidates for assembly seats and 175 candidates for Lok Sabha seats have applied to contest on behalf of the party in the region so far,” said the PCC chief.

He said that there is no credibility for the manifesto of Telugu Desam Party. He quoted the past history of Chandrababu Naidu for the same.

“It is not an easy thing for Chandrababu Naidu to get the support of the people of the state,” said the leader.

He said that he would go to Delhi on Wednesday to finalize the party candidates.

“We will give priority to all sections of people and youth in the coming elections,” said Raghuveera Reddy.
