Embarrassment for Cong in YSR District

The Congress Party's desperate hunt for a candidate to face rebel leader and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in YSR District has turned in to an embarrassment for the party on Saturday after the selected candidate refused the offered post.

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has appointed Kandula Sivananda Reddy as YSR District Congress Committee President. But accoding to sources he has declined to assume charge.

Sources said  Botsa had chosen Sivananda Reddy to face YS Jagan who has stronghold in the district. The PCC President appointed Sivananda Reddy without consulting him.
Taking up a defying posture Kondula reportedly told Botsa  that he is not ready to take up any post against YS Jagan in the district where there is no chance for any other party than YSRCP.

Kondula also alleged that some of his rivals in the party conspired against him even after the utter flop show of the Congress in the recent by-polls, sources said.
