‘CM’s 2018 Deadline for Polavaram Project is Misleading’
Tirupati: Statements by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that the Polavaram project will be completed by 2018 are misleading and lack clarity in
vision, YSRCP MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said.
Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, he said the chief minister's remarks on Polavaram indicate that he is not answerable to the people of the state and can make policy decisions as per his whims and fancies. Making a quick buck seems to be the single point agenda of the Telugu Desam Party, Ramachandra Reddy said. He maintained that after the YSRCP comes to power in the state, it will complete the construction of the new capital in a transparent and time-bound manner.
It may be recalled that Chandrababu Naidu mentioned that the Polavaram project will be completed by 2018 in all aspects. The YSRCP MLA's comments were made in this regard.
