CM Kiran garu, who's the boss at Secretariat?

In the age where people run from pillar to post to get things done, there's one person who makes any official work possible at a smooth pace.

Imagine: He can get CM's nod for any project, he can get government officials' signatures on files, he  can get GOs passed et. al. Wonder who it is? Well, he's neither a minister nor a bureaucrat. But he is a common man who has the greatest qualification to get access to Chief Minister's Office. The person we are referring to is none other than Kishore Kumar Reddy, one of CM Kiran Reddy's siblings. He unofficially  holds the responsibility of being an extra constitutional authority. Political circles can't stop going gaga over the efficiency of this CM's brother.

On several occasions, we have seen CM Kiran boasting about himself saying nobody can point a finger at him and that he's clean. However, he may not be able to defend himself when it comes to the liberties his brother exercises due to his high post.

According to highly placed sources, Kishore Reddy has the entire secretariat is in his hands. Sources in the ministry feel Kiran Kumar Reddy is a chief minister only for name sake, but the man in action behind the curtains is none other than Kishore Reddy. It is learnt that the CM's brother is the official in-charge of all the review meetings.

The buzz in the political circles is that Kishore Reddy can get easy clearance for any kind of works from secretariat. It's he who handles all the contracts and deals, an insider who wished to remain anonymous says. It is also learnt that Kishore already runs a regional news channel (I-news) and a Telugu newspaper (Krishnapatrika).

People who frequent Secretariat say it's easy to get an appointment to meet the CM but tough to get an audience with his busy brother.

It may be recalled that TDP leaders had openly alleged that Kishore Reddy had rented a house in Jubilee hills to use it as the unofficial CM's camp house to fix deals unofficially.   How can anybody forget Shankar Anna? Rao would often point to CM's brother's illegal activities. Former minister and Punganur MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy too had raised similar concern when he leveled corruption charges by citing the case of Kiran Reddy's brother getting the prices of Red Sanders slashed.

Meanwhile, Kiran Reddy's other brother Santhosh Reddy oversees operations in Pileru, Chittoor, sources say.

Wonder if CM Kiran Reddy can still prove that his family maintains a low profile and stay away from politics.
