City Bus Goes Berserk, Kills 3 Passersby In Vijayawada 

Vijayawada: An APSRTC bus went berserk killing three passersby on Budameru bridge at Singh Nagar in the city on Friday. Three bikes were completely damaged and the bus crushed down a woman and a 12-year-old boy killing them on the spot. Another person died while being shifted to hospital. The deceased were identified as Kurished(40) and Hursha(12) and another man's identity is not confirmed.

The city bus No.16 proceeding from Wambay Colony to Bus Stand lost control after its brakes failed and jumped on to the passersby. Agitated by the killing of three people in the accident, the onlookers set the bus on fire. However, the fire was doused by others later.
