Charminar MLA’s Son Booked For Illegal Sale Of LPG Cylinders

Hyderabad: A case was registered against the son of Charminar MLA Ahmed Pasha Quadri on Saturday for allegedly selling LPG cylinders illegally in the city.

Officials of civil supplies department, who got the information about the illegal storage of LPG cylinders, raided the godown at Basti Nabi-E-Kareem colony near Miralam and seized around 168 cylinders. The raid was led by V. Bala Raju, assistant supply officer.

"Out of 168 cylinders, 113 were full and 55 were empty," the officer said.

The Bahadurpura police registered a case on Abdul Quadri, son of the MLA and arrested a man Kareem, who would give the money to Abdul by selling the cylinders.
