Charging Mobile Phone Explodes, Kills Woman in Kadapa

Kadapa: In a tragic incident, a woman from Chakrayapeta in Kadapa lost her life on Monday after her mobile phone exploded while charging.

Going into the details, Bukke Shantamma of Kalluri Palle thanda had put her phone on charging for sometime. Few minutes after charging, the phone exploded leaving the woman with grevious injuries. She was immediately shifted to hospital by the neighbours where she succumbed to injuries.

Shantamma had a son, Eshwar Nayak. Nayak too died of heart attack after he was informed about his mother's death by his relatives. Eshwar was working for a company in Hyderabad. His body was taken to the village, where it will be cremated along with his mother's body.

In a similar incident, a woman from Chittoor died after her mobile phone exploded while she was speaking over the phone while it was charging.
