The Hyderabad police on Wednesday submitted the charge-sheet filed against the TNGO Union former president Swamy Goud to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
The police told the court that they have registered several criminal cases against Swamy Goud under the sections 404, 406, 420, 120(B), 156(3) of the IPC.
Cases were also registered against Tresorary Rajana, Director Rachel and secretary Husseni.
It may be recalled that some members of TNGO Union filed a petition in the court stating that irregularities have taken place in TNGOs’ Housing Society. They also mentioned in the petition that the police were delaying the case against Swamy Goud.
Following this, the police today appeared before the court and gave a detailed report on the issue.
According to sources, the police in the charge sheet mentioned that the accused collected Rs 4.5 lakh from a person Venkatesh promising that they will provide a plot for him in the allotted land. But after taking the money, the plot was not allotted to him. Fake documents were created on the name of Venkatesh. It is also said that some plots were allotted to ineligible persons.
The state government had appointed Senior official Kiranmayi from the Cooperative Department to submit a detailed report on the irregularities that have taken place in the housing society plot allotments.
