Change in AP secretariat construction plan

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State government has yet again changed the decision of constructing the temporary secretariat in Amaravati Township, close to Mangalagiri. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had to reconsider the construction of the secretariat in Amaravati Township, as those who have given their lands for new capital are against the idea.

It is reported that the new temporary secretariat will be set up in the lad acquired from 29 villages collectively.

On the other hand, Capital Region development Authority (CRDA ) has already passed a GO 278 for the construction of the secretariat in the Amaravati Township across 20 acres of land. A budget of Rs. 300 cr was also proposed.
