Chandrababu weakening APSRTC: YS Jagan

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday demanded that the state government should merge the APSRTC into the Government.

Speaking at a meeting of YSRCP RTC National Union at Tirupati on Tuesday, he said Chandrababu Naidu was trying to weaken the RTC and also hitting at the livelihood of the outsourcing employees . He said during the YSRCP chief said during the YSR regime, every effort was made to strengthen the RTC and the bus fares were not hiked during all the five years of YSR rule. YSR had also provided benefits to a tune of Rs 280 crore to the RTC employees.

“However, Chandrababu naidu is trying to weaken the RTC and privatise it. “We will merge the RTC into the government once we come back to power,” YS Jagan assured.
