Chandrababu Trampling Democracy: YS Jagan

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for trampling democracy and for creating an emergency like situation.

YS Jagan unfurled the national Tricolour on the Republic Day at the party's headquarters in Lotus Pond. Speaking on the occasion, he said the repression on the protesters who want to hold a candle light rally in Vizag's RK Beach makes one feel whether we are still living in the British rule. He said people were only demanding that the TDP government in the state and the Central government implement what has been assured on the floor of the Lok Sabha. He also said that YSRCP leaders were being arrested across the state to thwart the Vizag protests.

YS Jagan said that Chandrababu Naidu was mortgaging the interests of the State to protect his interests. He said Chandrababu was blatantly engineering defections and was showing utter disregard to constitutional values and principles. He also said that the SCs, STs and BCs in the capital area were being given a raw deal in the Capital area.
