Chandrababu resorting to unethical practices : Mekapati

Senior YSRCP leader and Nellore MP elect Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said that TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu was resorting to unethical practices at a time when he had to concentrate on making true all his election promises.

“TDP promised that it would waive off all kinds of loans relating to agriculture, weaving and DWACRA. It said that they would increase the pensions for elders, widows and handicapped persons in the state. The people are expecting all these promises will be made true at the earliest,” said the MP elect.

He said that changing parties is not a wrong one. “I came from Congress party and won after contesting again. Some leaders are changing the parties within nine days of declaration of results. If anyone wants to change his party, he should first resign from his party and contest again in the bye elections,” said Mekapati.

“These kind of leaders are making the democracy a mockery,” commented the leader.

He said that anti defection law would be applied to all those who changed their respective parties.

Mekapati dissatisfied with S.P.Y.Reddy and Butta Renukha, who joined TDP on Sunday.
