Chandrababu pulls up leaders for open spats

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday asked his party leaders to bury the internal differences, as they mar the prospects of the party. He spoke to the party leaders in a meeting convened at party headquarters in Hyderabad.

According to the sources in TDP, he pulled up all the senior leaders for openly indulging in wordy-duals. “Your remarks bring bad reputation to the party and hamper the party prospects,” he reportedly told TDP Telangana forum leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh. (Read Here)
It is a known fact that the feud between Errabelli and CM Ramesh came to the fore in the recent past over the Telangana issue. Errabelli was also annoyed with Payyavula Kesav’s petition in Supreme Court and made open remarks on him. (Also Read)
In this backdrop, Chandrababu held a meeting with the party leaders of both Telangana and Seemandhra regions on Saturday. He tried to convince Errabelli stating that the petitions of Payyavula and CM Ramesh in the Apex Court against the division of the State, were not in the violation of the party's stand.
However, many TDP leaders believe that Errabelli made up his mind to quit the party and that was the reason why he is hitting out at his counterparts of Seemandhra. As an inference to the belief, Errabelli got ardent support from unexpected corner. Congress MP S Rajaiah on Saturday came down heavily on CM Ramesh for chiding Errabelli.
Sources also said that Chandrababu decided to drop the plan of resuming ‘Atma Gourava yatra’ scheduled from November 21. Instead, he may choose conducting public meetings in both Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
