Chandrababu Naidu sacks 20,536 state employees

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief Chabdrababu Naidu, who came to power on the promise of providing employment is doing the opposite -- sacking the state employees.

Naidu has reportedly sacked over 20, 536 employees in a single Government Order (GO). 

April 22, 2015 many of the DRDA (District Rural Development Agencies) and NPO (Non-Pesticide Management) contract employees have been asked to leave their jobs. As many as 10,286 NPOs supervising 14, 93,824 farmers cultivating non pesticide crop in 392 mandals.  In addition to that 7250 VA (Village Administrators), 1450 (Cluster Administrators), 1450 Rural Committee Members, 59 District Committee  Members, 59 Computer  Operators working since 2006 have also been sacked. 

The sacked employees have also not been paid their pending salaries amounting to Rs.18 Crores

The employees reported the matter to YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan when he visited YSR Chudappha Disrtict yesterday.

YS Jagan Mohan promised them that he would fight for them and take up the issue in the Assembly.

The sacked employees told YS Jagan that they were not able to make ends meet and left with no option but commit suicide.
