Chandrababu Naidu cashes in on falling rupee

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu held a press conference today. His address mainly centered around the national politics. He lashed out at the UPA government over the rupee fall and FDI.

Naidu expressed concern over the country's economic situation. Addressing media persons at his residence, Naidu said that he had never seen anything like UPA regime in his life. "I have not seen such a worst situation in my political life. Rupee has fallen to its lowest level. Foreign investors are shying away from the country," Naidu said.

Even at the time of Emergency, such situation did not arise, he said referring to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statements that 1991 situation had come back now.
UPA government has no right to rule the country. "There is no governance. There is policy paralysis," the TDP chief added.

Naidu expressed shock over the missing coal scam files. "Files related to the Coalgate scam are missing from the PMO itself. What will the PM answer to this?," he asked.

He also said that the value of rupee was worst ever plunge in the history and this caused more doom to the country's economic situation.

It's not new that Naidu who till now hasn't clearly stated his stand on Telangana is facing flak. Without bothering about burning issues in the state, one wonders how economy managed to draw the attention of the TDP chief.
