Alla Ramakrishna Reddy,YSRCP MLA from Mangalagiri, had filed a petition in the court seeking inclusion of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s name as and accused in cash-for-vote-scam. The petitioner Reddy furnished the forensic report from a private laboratory that showed the voice-sample in the telephonic conversation with TRS Anglo-Indian MLA Stephenson was that of Chandrababu Naidu. Based on this, the court ordered re-investigation into the case.

Chandrababu Naidu, after the court order on Monday, held discussions with legal experts. Later, Naidu convened a review meeting on drought. During the review meeting, media persons raised questions over the latest development in cash for vote case.

It’s learnt that Naidu has directed his advocates to challenge ACB court’s orders in the High Court. TDP leaders are concerned over the latest development as the cash for vote issue will dampen the TDP’s prospects in the State.

On other hand, according to the sources, ACB officials studied the court order and decided to take legal opinion before commencing investigation.
