Chandrababu Had Foreknowledge of Demoneisation

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday said that Chandrababu Naidu had foreknowledge of demonetisation and to claim credit for it, he had even written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking ban on high denomination notes.

Talking to mediapersons at Vijayawada on way to Narsaraopet in Guntur district, he said had the note ban been successful, Chandrababu would have claimed credit for it. He is now slamming Modi only to save himself.

Reiterating that Chandrababu had advanced information about demonetisation, he said that two days before demonetisation, Chandrababu had sold off Heritage stocks to Futures Group. Slamming the modus of note ban, he said while the rich people were getting carton loads of new currency notes, the poor are made to stay in the queues for hours together for a mere Rs 2000.

YS Jagan categorically stated that demonetisation was not meant to rein in black money. It's chief aim is to bring moe people under the tax net, he said.
