* Chandrababu did not give me an appointment for the last six months.

* I did campaign for the BJP at the request of the minister. But, why are they talking about it after all these years?

* They wanted that benefits should be extended to only TDP men. I did not agree to it.

* I cannot kowtow to Lokesh. If they want a sycophant, I am not the right person. I cannot do Bhajan to Chandrababu.

In a stinging attack on Chandrababu Naidu, former chief secretary and chairman of the AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation IYR Krishna Rao laid bare the casteist and partisan politics of the Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing a press meet in Hyderabad after he was sacked as the chairperson of the corporation on Tuesday, he said he stands by his Facebook re-posts that questioned the arrest of social media activist Inturi Ravikiran and felt that the the people of Andhra Pradesh are not getting the truth.

Arresting Ravikiran Wrong

"I did not like the way Inturi Ravikiran was arrested. Social media is meant for free expression of ideas. I fail to understand if we are living in a democracy or fascist set up," he asked.

He said he couldn't get an appointment from Chief Minister for the past six months. "The campaign that I was irresponsible while discharging the duties as corporation chairman is patently false. I did everything according to rule book. The government never asked me for any explanation of any kind," he said.

Beneficiaries are beneficiaries, not TDP or YSRCP

On the question of chosing of beneficiaries, he said he had opposed extending of benefits only to TDP men. "Beneficiaries are beneficiaries. There can't be YSRCP beneficiaries and TDP beneficiaries. I was asked to get mileage for the TDP," he said. In another significant jibe, he said he can't cowtow chief minister's son. He was referring to possible interference by Lokesh in corporation's affairs. Justifying his criticism of the TDP government over certain issues, he sought to know why was he being slammed when leaders like Kesineni Nani and JC Diwakar Reddy criticise the Government repeatedly and are allowed to get away.

Meeting YSRCP MLA not wrong

He also justified his meeting with Bapatla's YSRCP MLA Kona Raghupathi. "When Chandrababu can meet Lagadapati Rajagopal, why shouldn't I meet Kona Raghupathi, who is a Brahmin? He is a local MLA and protocol demands that he be invited to any official programme in his area," Krishna Rao said. He also questioned the decision to waive entertainment tax to Gauthamiputra Satakarni, which distorted history and allow Baahubali to hike the ticket price.

No neutral media in AP

He said that TDP men have been recruited as employees of the welfare corporation. He said he would have resigned if the CM or CMO has asked him. He said he is not interested in politics as he doesn't have money or resources. He said AP people are not getting the truth as there are no neutral media organisations. He said he would write books on capital construction and bifurcation of AP.
