Chandrababu Declares War on TRS in GHMC Elections

Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday declared war on Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) calling it as his main political opponent in GHMC elections.He reviewed the division-wise party situation in view of the GHMC elections at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Saturday.

Giving direction to his party leaders in city, Chandrababu said there is no compromise with the TRS although both AP and TS governments are maintaining cordial relations. "There is no compromise with TRS and we have to fight with all the vigor to win the elections," he told the leaders. He also hinted that the party will strike an alliance with BJP and asked the party cadres to work with its partner. He said he will campaign for the party.

City MLAs Maganti Gopinath, Arikepudi Gandhi, Vivekananda Goud, Prakash Goud, Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy, party leaders Revuri Prakash Reddy, L Ramana and others participated. The party has chalked a program to win at least 90 Divisions in the city.
