'Chandrababu cheating people over crop loan waiver'

The three-member team of the YSRCP on Saturday reviewed the party situation in Vijayawada.

A meeting of the key functionaries of the party was organised on the occasion at Hotel Ilapuram in Vijayawada.

Senior leaders Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, V Vijaya Sai Reddy and Sagi Prasada Raju, the members of the team, exhorted the party workers to make November 5 dharna a success.

On November 5, the YSRCP would organise state-wide dharnas over the failure of TDP government to implement crop loan waiver.

Speaking on the occasion, the committee members said, “Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy was very sincere about the electoral promises. He never made promises that could not be implemented. Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu did not fulfill any of his promises till now.”

Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani said, “ Chandrababu said that he would waive off loans of farmers in the state. He also said that he would provide zero interest loans after abolishing DWCRA loans. It is five months since Chandrababu had come to power. But, he could not give even one rupee for DWCRA women.”

The MLA said that they planned Dharnas at all mandal headquarters on November 5 on the issue.

Speaking in the meeting, Official Spokesperson Partha Saradhi said the farmers in the state could not get loans due to the wrong approach of Chandrababu.
