Centre will not succumb to deadlines: KCR

“Situation is not conducive for Centre to yield to deadlines on Telangana,” said TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao on Monday.

He reportedly advised the three Telangana Congress MPs who met him at his farmhouse that the UPA government was not in a position to announce Telangana State. Congress MPs Rajaiah, Vivek and Manda Jagannadham called on KCR today after their ultimatum to the party high command that they would resign if it should not clear its stand on Telangana before May 31. KCR reportedly told the MPs that their deadline would show no impact on the UPA government and suggested them to join his party in the first week of May. His aim was to unite all the forces to achieve a Telangana state, KCR reportedly commented before the MPs.
