The newly constituted AK Antony Committee held several meetings with Telangana and Seemandhra leaders to learn about the possible problems post division of state.
Sources said that the Centre is now planning a new proposal on the Telangana issue. It is now decided to constitute an all-party Committee with members representing various parties.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamalnath hinted this to Seemandhra MPs. But the one question haunting MPs is if this Committee will address problems that would arise after the division of state or it would debate if the state has to be divided or remain united?
Sources say that the High Command came up with this proposal after the government moved a motion to suspend 11 Seemandhra MPs.
