Celebrations, Blood Donations, Health Camps Mark KCR’s Birthday

Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is celebrating his 64th birthday today. Marking the occasion, all the ministers in the government have wished their leader while Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has organised grand-scale celebrations which is being held at Jalavihar in Necklace Road. The celebrations include blood donation camp, distribution of sewing machines to needy women and crutches will be given to physically challenged.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to KCR on his Twitter handle praying for his good health and long life. IT minister KT Rama Rao also extended his warm greeting to his father praying for happiness and health. The big event of the day would be the cake cutting ceremony that would take place at Telangana Bhavan this afternoon. This event is jointly organized by TRS Youth Wing and TRSV. The celebrations are also planned at the historic Osmania University wherein cake cutting, blood donation and eye testing camps are being held.

KCR’s birthday is also being celebrated beyond India, in Australia and New Zealand by their respective TRS units . TRS Australia President Nagender Reddy Kasarla and TRS president Vijay Bhaskar Reddy had oraganised the event amidst their party cadres. Reddy hailed KCR for his reformative steps benefitting the people. He mentioned Kaleshwaram project, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and the latest - providing 24 hours electricity to farmers are historical welfare programmes that he has taken up for the people of the state.
