CBI memo on Jagan leads to speculation

CBI's memo in the court seeking a directive to lodge YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy in separate jails raises eyebrows, said YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu on Sunday.

CBI has never submitted such requisitions in case of any accused, he said. The CBI request raises doubts as it was filed only after TDP leader Revanth Reddy spoke on the issue. “In the past also Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy were together in the same jail. But the CBI never submitted such requisitions. The CBI request raises several doubts as it was filed a petition in the court only after TDP leader Revanth Reddy made a demand for keeping them in separate jails. It is clear indication that the CBI was acting at the behest of the TDP,” Ambati alleged.

He recalled that CBI had confined Jagan to the four walls of the prison with the only argument that he would influence the witness. He also accused Naidu of dividing the NTR family and destroyed human values. Ambati accused Congress and TDP for harassing Jagan mentally for their political benefits. Thus, they are misusing CBI, he added.

He threw an open challenge to the two parties to face Kadapa MP in politics. The madness of Anam brothers has reached its peak and would be over after 2014 elections, Ambati asserted.
