CBI JD Lakshminarayana denies charge of news leak

CBI Joint Director Lakshminarayana on Tuesday handed over the charge to DIG Venkatesh.

Talking to media persons on the occasion, Lakshminarayana denied the charge that he has leaked the information on the investigation to the media. "I have collected information from the media, but not leaked info to the media. Media knows many things because they are mingling with many people. I have taken a lot of information from media," he said.

"I have conducted a probe on YSR helicopter crash and submitted a report to the government. Every issue has been mentioned in the report," Lakshminarayana clarified. Referring to Jagan's case, the CBI JD said investigation has not yet been completed and my successor Venkatesh will continue it.
