Caught Red-Handed With Colleague’s Wife, Government Teacher Arrested
Hyderabad: A government school teacher has been arrested on Thursday for his extra-marital relation with a colleague's wife.
The accused Chandu Naik(40) was caught by his colleague Bhanu Chandar when the former was in his house when the latter was out. Bhanu Chander lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday after the incident. Chandu Nayak was a teacher at the government school in Uppanutala village in Nagarkurnool district. He was in a relationship with Bhanu Chandar's wife for the past two years.
Earlier too, Bhanu Chandar took the issue to elders who reprimanded both the man and woman. However, they continued their affair even after Bhanu shifted his family to Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, when Bhanuchander went out, Chandu Naik sneaked into the house. When Bhanu Chander returned home he found Chandu Nayak and his wife inside. He locked them inside and informed the police.
Police arrested Chandu Naik and was sent to remand. However, since there is no provision to book a woman for having extra-marital affair, no case is filed against her.
