Car Driver Arrested In Rape Case

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City police have arrested a car driver for allegedly raping a polytechnic college girl on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Vijaynagar Colony, which falls under the jurisdiction of Humayun Nagar police station. According to the police, the car driver, identified as Lakshman, had shot a video of the girl while she was taking a shower and began blackmailing her. He also raped her for several times.

On coming to know of the incident, the police have registered a case and took Lakshman into custody. The are further investigating into the complaint. Lakshman is an accused in some other rape cases too, which have already been reigstered in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar and Sanath Nagar police stations.
