“Call me a Dog, not Pakistani”

New Delhi: “Call me a dog, but not Pakistani. I am Baloch,” says 25-year-old Mazdak Dilshad Baloch. He is one of the very few Baloch refugees in India.

Mazdak, a Baloch freedom fighter, says: “My father was abducted, my mother was harassed and my properties were damaged. I faced lot of harassment because I am Baloch.” Mazdak family fled Pakistan and settled in Canada. They are currently in India to create awareness about Balock freedom movement.

Mazdak is happy that Indian Prime Minister Modi talked about Balochistan. “I am happy that for the first time in 70 years, New Delhi has lend open support to our struggle,”he says.
