Businessman Hires Supari Killers For Wife’s Murder, Caught
Bengaluru: A businessman from Vayyalikaval here was arrested after a killer gang revealed that he paid them ‘supari’ to kill his wife on Wednesday. The accused, Narendrababu, offered the gang Rs15 lakh for killing his wife with whom he had differences for five years now.
Narendrababu married Vinutha seven years back but they had been fighting over property issues for five years. He planned to get rid of his wife and hired a killer gang. The deal was struck at Rs. 15 lakh and he already paid them Rs. 2 lakh in advance.
On Wednesday, two members of the gang were waiting for Vinutha at Vayyalikaval in an auto. As their movements appeared suspicious to a patrol party, the cops took them into custody. During the course of interrogation, the murder plot was revealed by the gangsters.
The police immediately arrested Narendrababu along with Chinnaswamy and Abhilash. Meanwhile, a shocked Vinutha told police that on an earlier occasion, her husband and in-laws tried to kill her by setting her on fire but she managed to escape.
