Businessman Gifts 90 Houses To Poor On Daughter’s Wedding
Aurangabad: Ajay Munot, a businessman, from Aurangabad gave 90 houses to the homeless rather than splurging money in an extravagant way for his daughter's wedding. The people were given the house keys by the newlywed couple.
"This is the new chapter in history and hope that the same concept will be followed by the other rich communities," Munot said.
Ajay took the decision after his family members suggested to spend the money for a noble cause.
The 90 houses have been built on 2 acres of land at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore. He gave the house to people who fall under three criteria set by Ajay. Firstly, the persons need to be poor, should be living in slum and shouldn't have an addiction.
The bride said, "I am very happy with the decision and will consider it as my marriage gift."
