Bury ‘chameleon’ Chandrababu instead, Ponnam retorts

Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday took serious exception on TDP leaders ‘atrocious’ act of building tomb to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and naming it Sonia-Ghat. Speaking to reporters in Karimnagar, he retorted them to make a grave for their leader Chandrababu Naidu, instead.

In an act of dissent over the involvement of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in dividing the State, TDP leaders in Tirupati on Tuesday built a tomb at a burial ground and named it after Sonia.
“Chandrababu Naidu gave a letter to the Centre supporting separate Telangana, but now, he is non-committal. So, Chandrababu must be buried for his chameleon politics,” Ponnam retorted TDP leaders.
He also slammed Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for being mum on such offensive incident.
“The pivotal position of Kiran Reddy as the Chief Minister, was bestowed upon him by none other than Sonia. So, how could he be so ungrateful to her,” Ponnam said. He openly questioned the CM whether he colluded with the TDP.
