Burglars Flee with Rs53 Lakh from private employee

Pulivendula (YSR District): Unidentified men attacked two people who were going to deposit huge amount at an ATM center in Pulivendula on Monday and fled away with it.

Vikram, working for TATA consultancy and Seenu were carrying Rs 53 lakh on a bike to deposit it in an ATM. Two unidentified men coming from the opposite direction on a two-wheeler, attacked them with chilli powder, thrashed them with stones and fled away with the money.

The onlookers have observed this and complained to the police. Police have reached the spot and rushed Vikram and Seenu to the nearby hospital. Police are raising questions about carrying such huge amount without security on a two-wheeler. Police are investigating the case basing on the CCTV footage found.
