Boy Baba's bizarre act leaves 5 girls with burn injuries in Medak

In a bizarre incident, young boy, who claimed to possess divine powers, made five girls to hold red-hot burning charcoal in their hands to prove their innocence in a mobile phone theft. The mobile couldn't be traced, but the girls ended up with burn injuries on their hands.

This incident occurred in Seetaram thanda in Narsapur Mandal of Medak district. A boy named Vinod, a student of Sitramaraju Gurukul, lost his mobile phone in his class room. He suspected five classmates and approached a self-styled godman called Babi Baba, a class X student in the same school.
The 'Baba' suggested the girls that they should hold burning charcoal in their hands to prove their innocence. When they did, the girls suffered severe burn injuries. The police shifted the girls to the hospital and have registered a case.
