Botsa visits smouldering Vizianagaram

It’s more than two months since PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana visited his native place Vizianagaram district, fearing wrath of Samaikyandhra activists.

On the eve of Dussera on Monday, he came to his native place and spending time with his family members. He is likely to take part in the celebrations of local goodness Paiditalli.
Botsa was accused of dancing to the music of Congress high command in bifurcating Andhra Pradesh. The protesters damaged his properties in the district.
Soon after he came to his hometown, Botsa held a close door meetings with his aides and a large number of party workers thronged at his house, coming from all corners of the district.
Curfew was clamped in Vizianagaram on October 5 following large-scale violence by anti-bifurcation agitators, after the Union Cabinet decided to create a separate Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh. With the situation is fast getting normal, the curfew was relaxed during the day time. However, section 144 of CrPC was in force during the relaxed period. Amid this situation, Botsa's visit to Vizianagaram attained significance.
