Botsa slams Chandrababu for creating rift among castes

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Botsa Satyanarayana on Thursday slammed Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for creating rift between various castes in the state for his own political gain.

The YSRCP leader told media on Thursday in Hyderabad that he faulted Chandrababu for imposing restrictions in East Godavari district. Why the government has imposed no entry for non locals into the district, he questioned.

Botsa hit out at TDP chief for his double standards on the Kapu reservation issue. His reign is akin to monarchy, he said. The government has been saying the rally was permitted whereas the police are saying it was not permitted, what to believe?" Botsa questioned the confusion on permission to Tuni rally and asked why BC leader R. Krishnaiah remained silent when 27 castes were included into the Backward Classes category in Telangana state.

He alleged that the reservation for Kapu community is being obstructed for the political gains of the ruling party.
