Botsa's wife acting under his guidelines?

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayna has never crossed the line drawn by the Congress High Command. On more than one occasion, he has shown that  he will abide by the the decision of Congress High Command on Telangana.

His wife and MP Botsa Jhansi recently made an open statement: "It's not proper to resign in emotion or anger. I am saying this without fear."

Botsa's wife gave the Seemandhra Congress leaders meeting at Minister's quarters a miss on Saturday. Several Congress leaders including Union Ministers held a meeting to decide the future course of action in view of the indication that Congress High Command will go ahead with its Telangana decision. But Botsa Jhansi left from the meeting soon after it began at the club house of the Minster's Quarters.

Union Ministers Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Pallam Raju, J.D. Seelam, Purandeswari and MPs Lagadapati, Bapi Raju, KVP and Maganti Srinivasulu Reddy marked their attendance for the meeting.

The fact that Jhansi stayed till the meeting began and left soon after it started raised several eye brows. Many feel that Jhansi is only following the directions of her husband Botsa.

It is also learnt that union Ministers Kishore Chandra Deo, Panabaka Lakshmi and Killi Kruparani, MPs Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, G Harsha Kumar and Chinta Mohan skipped the meeting.
The meeting was held to decide the strategy to be followed if the Telangana note is accepted. The discussions mainly centered around the state capital Hyderabad.

It is learnt that the ministers decided to opt for resignation to mount pressure on the Centre to withdraw its decision to divide the state. While some Union Ministers and MPs are ready to resign, others are not yet ready to let go of their plum posts.
