HYDERABAD: With each passing day, coronavirus is spreading to many countries across the globe and the severity of covid-19 affecting the people is going high. World Health Organisation have come up with #SafeHandsChallenge. Many celebrities are taking part in this challenge and are nominating others as well. Washing hands with soap or alcohol based hand rub is essential to help protect from the novel coronavirus. WHO has recommended a few steps about how to wash hands. Here are the steps.
- Wet hands with water and apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
- Rub hands palm to palm; right palm over left hand, interlaced fingers and vice versa.
- Back of fingers to opposing plams fingers interlocked.
- Rotational rubbing of left and right thumbs.
- Rotational rubbing with clasped fingers.
- Rinse hands with water and dry thoroughly with a towel.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organisation called the people to take up the safe hands challenge. From then #SafeHandsChallenge has been trending.
Many celebrities took the challenge. Now the Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram and posted a video accepting the safe hands challenge. She nominated Kate Bosworth, Mindy Kaling, Nick Jonas, Parineeti Chopra and senior hero Amitabh Bachchan.
