Shahid’s Jersey Starts Rolling, Actor Shares The Film’s Clapboard

Soon after confirming the cast, it was reported that the makers of the film 'Jersey' had announced that the film will finally go on floors from December 13. Accordingly, the actor has shared an update on the film's journey yesterday.

After an impressive performance in the south remake of 'Arjun Reddy', the actor is now set to cash in some more fans with his next that is a sports drama. Shahid took to his Instagram and shared the film's clapboard and announced about the team starting the shoot. Take a look at it.

'Jersey' is the remake of south hit with the same title starring Tollywood star Nani in the lead role. The film will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri who also helmed the original movie. Produced by Allu Arvind, Aman Gill and Dil Raju, the film stars Mrunal Thakur alongside Shahid Kapoor. The film is slated to release in August 2020.

Ahead of the film's shoot, Shahid Kapoor took to Twitter to thank fans for their concerns and wishes for his health. In the tweet, he revealed that recently he had been sleepless and anxious due to pre-shoot nervousness. He also added that he is looking forward to the challenges and responsibilities of his new character.
