Blackbuck Poaching Case Verdict: Court Convicts Salman Khan

A court in Jodhpur held the Bollywood actor guilty in blackbuck poaching case and acquitted Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre.

The verdict in the 19-year-old blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be pronounced today by a Jodhpur court.If Convicted, the actor may be charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, may face six years imprisonment. It's worth mentioning here that Judge Dev Kumar Khatri reserved the order after the final arguments on March 28.

The actor has been accused of killing two blackbucks in Kankani village, Jodhpur on October 2,1998 during the shooting of his blockbuster hit Hum Saath Saath Hain. His co-stars in the film including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre too are co-accused in the case. All the actors will appear before the court of the chief judicial magistrate (Jodhopur Rural).
