Amaravati: BJP MLC Madhav criticised the comments made by Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababau Naidu here today. The reply given by Amit Shah should have been understood in the political context and should not have taken into the personal level, he told the media persons.

Madhav mentioned that the ruling party was silencing the opposition parties by not allowing them to speak in state assembly. He went on to say that the all party meet that the government had arranged was a bitter failure because all the parties in the state were against the ruling TDP.

The BJP MLC said that the TDP was portraying BJP as the villain of the state when they started questioning the government and also for pointing out their mistakes to the public. He said it was not fair to make a personal discussion that was held between two individuals in New Delhi a political issue.

It was surprising to see Chandrababu speaking about ethics, when he was indulging in using the state assembly for political gains Madhav said and demanded that he gave an explanation to the comments he made on Amit Shah. There was a need to come out clear on the investments that had come to the state through CII Partnership Summits, he added.
