Bhuma Nagireddy surrenders to police

A case was registered against Bhuma Nagireddy over the incidents in the Nandyal Municipal Council on Saturday.

On Friday, there were unruly scenes in the council as the municipal chairperson announced the passing of resolutions without any debate and adjournment of the session even while Bhuma was speaking. Three persons, including a YSRCP activist, were injured in the melee.

There was tension in Nandyal after a case of attempt to murder was booked against Bhuma. To ease the tension among people and the followers Bhooma Nagireddy decided to surrender.

Police were deployed in huge numbers near Bhuma's residence. Kurnool SP reached the spot to control the situation. Many Y.S.R.C.P leaders are rushing to Nandyal to handle the situation. M.L.A S.V.Mohan Reddy, Izzaya, Mani Gandhi came to Nandyal while senior leaders Umareddy Venkateshwarulu, Vijay Sai Reddy are on their way.
