Bhuma Akhila Priya's election, a mere formality

The Congress Party has decided not to filed its candidate in the by-poll to Allagadda Assembly to be held on November 8. With this, the election of Bhuma Akhila Priya has become a mere formality.

The Congress has taken this decision after the leaders of Kurnool district unanimously took the decision and informed the party high command. Andhra Pradesh Congress chief Raghuveera Reddy announced the party decision on Tuesday afternoon.

The by-poll to the Allagadda seat is expected to be unanimous as the main parties like TDP and Congress opted out from fielding candidates. Tuesday is the last day for filing the nominations.
Bhuma Akhila Priya is the YSRCP candidate for the Allagadda by-election.
