Bharat Bahiranga Sabha Highlights

Koratala Siva's Bharat Ane Nenu pre-release event 'Bharat Bahiranga Sabha' on Saturday was a visual treat. With Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu sharing the same dais, the Bharat Bahiranga Sabha at LB stadium was a crowd puller of sorts. We bring to you the highlights of the evening from this star-studded event.

1. Superstar Krishna's Speech

Yesteryear actor Krishna said that going by the dialogues, trailer and songs of Bharat Ane Nenu (BAN) the film is sure to mark a milestone in Mahesh's career, adding that it would break the previous records held by Srimanthudu.

2. Dil Raju

Producer Dil Raju said that in his 23-year-long stint in the industry he hasn't witnessed such a function in Hyderabad. He praised filmmaker Koratala Siva for making this possible. He then went on to say that Jr NTR's presence at another star hero's film would be a trend setter.

3. NTR Jr

Breaking the myth that actors don’t share good rapport, addressing the fans, NTR said that, “It may appear new to you see both of us on same stage but not for us. Mahesh is a ‘superstar’ and ‘prince’ for you but for me he is ‘anna’.” BAN will be a milestone in his career. He is an actor with exemplary histrionic abilities. Speaking about his association with Koratala Siva, he said he knew him since the time of Brindavanam and called him a visionary with a vision for society.

4. Koratala Siva

The director thanked Mahesh Babu for reposing confidence in him and for trusting his judgment on the script. He added that the script narration to Mahesh Babu took over five hours. At the end of the marathon script narration session, the actor liked the script to such an extent that Mahesh went on to ask him if would it be possible to make it into a five-hour film. He thanked producer DVV Danayya for bankrolling the project on a grand scale, and music composer Devi Sri Prasad and wizard of words, song writer, Ramajogayya Sastry.

5. Devi Sri Prasad, DVV Danayya

Devi Sri Prasad said that Mahesh, is not just as an actor but an exceptionally good human being. He observed that Mahesh has the heart of a Superstar, while Danayya said that the film would prove to be a greater success than what the fans had expected.

6. Mahesh Babu

The film releases on April 20 and referring to its significance Mahesh said his mother Indira’s birthday falls on the same day. “Indira amma birthday is on the same day so I am very much happy and also feel that her blessings are there with me,” Mahesh said. Addressing NTR as “tammudu”, Mahesh said once he attended his film’s audio launch and now he feels happy to see NTR at this event.

Taking about fans' rivalry, Mahesh said Telugu industry has five big stars and that all of them maintain cordial and friendly relations and asked the fans to bury their rivalry.

Moving on, he said he was in a bit of a doubt himself when Koratala narrated the script to him. He realized it was a political thriller emphasizing that he had distanced himself from politics. He thanked Koratala for giving him Srimanthudu which was a turning point in his career. Mahesh called BAN another major leap in his career. He thanked producer Danayya, DSP and all the members of the film unit.
